Pancakes

What you need

  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Add 1.5 tsp baking powder to all purpose flour if you aren’t using self-raising flour.

To cook for several people, use 1 less of everything than the number of people you’re cooking for.

How it’s done

Mix the dry ingredients together

Gently whisk the egg and milk together

Add milk and egg mixture to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly

Spoon into heated pan and cook until golden on both sides
